Our History
Randy is a third generation driver, following in the footsteps of his grandfather John, father Doug, and uncle Darryl.
Randy’s first six years of competition, which started at age seven, came with go kart racing at a local level and also with the WKA (World Karting Association). During his tenure he earned 100-plus victories and 4 driving championships. Despite this success he is most proud of the fact that he earned “Most Popular Driver” award with the Auto Racing Club of Hagerstown, an award voted on by fellow competitors and fans.
Burkholder moved into the highly powerful Dirt Late Model division at age 15, and has won 32 feature events and also the Cumberland Speedway “Late Model Champion” twice (2006, 2007) and the Path Valley Speedway “Late Model Champion” twice (2019, 2021). Randy was awarded the 2022 Auto Racing Club of Hagerstown sportsmanship award.
We are excited for 2025 to compete with the best in the region featuring our Kryptonite Race Cars limited and super late models.
